I gave it a listen last night and it is really good! I wasn't a fan of the last couple of albums, but Shame Shame was awesome. This new album takes the band in a new direction.

If you are a fan, give it a listen. NPR First Listen

Spent all day Sunday listening to these guys for the first time. Loved their live album at Flamingo Hotel. Awesome band.

I listened to the first few songs and enjoyed them. Need to listen to the rest.

Saw these guys at Chelsea's ages ago and always kind of kept tabs on them. "Fate" and "We All Belong" are the only two albums I have but I really enjoy their sound.

Caught them at the Varsity for the first leg of the Flamingo Hotel tour. Definitely going to get a copy of the live album.

On pre-order for me, but I'm hitting that link up today.

One of my favorite bands, B-Room and Be the Void were great. Shame, Shame is extremely overlooked.

Getting to see them next week in SLC too.

This is actually a release of their debut first released on cassette:

"Psychedelic indie rockers Dr. Dog have announced it will release its 15-year-old experimental cassette-only debut, The Psychedelic Swamp, as a new release next month. The album is scheduled to drop February 5 on Anti- Records."

"As Vulture reports, the Philly outfit have retooled their experimental cassette-only debut as a fully imagined studio album, comprised of the '60s-inspired psych-pop that made 2005's Easy Beat and 2007's We All Belong indie favorites. With original members of the collective in tow, the band returned to their Mt. Slippery studio for the project and, in a fit of energy, also recorded the new song "Bring My Baby Back."

Cool! I had no idea. From what I've read, the original album wasn't widely available and it sounds like they re-recorded the songs on the album for this release.

Be The Void is the best stuff they've done IMO. About to give this one a listen now
