One song by a band that you want to hear live. Can be a Past or present band or artist

Obviously a big Floyd fan here. I would love to hear Pink Floyd play Shine on you Crazy Diamond part 1-9 live......

Never got to see them live

And yours?

I wish I could have attended a show by Sam Cooke's gospel group The Soul Stirrers

The Soul Stirrers - "Touch the Hem Of His Garment"/"Jesus Wash My Troubles Away"

ETA: This track (from the legendary Shrine Auditorium concert) gives a better idea of the gospel Cooke live:

The Soul Stirrers - "Nearer To Thee"

Absolutely impossible but I'd love to see Duane play the opening to Statesboro Blues. Probably the song that got me into ABB but am not old enough to have seen Duane :(

Abbey Road Medley - Paul McCartney (live)

This is as close as you are going to get. The Cirque de Soleil show "Love" opens with the drum solo. Pretty awesome.

Seeing Robert Johnson perform anything in some country bar would probably be number one on my list.

Some secondary choices

In My Time of Dying - Led Zeppelin
Castles Made of Sand - Jimi
Hand of Doom - Black Sabbath
Mannish Boy - Muddy Waters
One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer - John Lee Hooker.

Ditto on Pink Floyd with Shine On You Crazy Diamond. If I had a time machine, I'd want to go back to the outdoor Oakland concert of Skynyrd for Free Bird. Love that video.

Sanctuary (Bela Fleck - Drive)

Bluegrass typically consists of short, tight standards in the vein of acoustic speed metal.

Sanctuary is a lengthy ballad built around the fiddle solo which makes the song somewhat unique to the genre.

The Drive album is also arguably the most talented and accomplished assemblage of bluegrass musicians put to vinyl.
