Hardly ever saw Grandaddy round here-only got to town about twice a year..

I saw Steve play this album in full in Austin soon after Trump was elected. The only political statement he made was to say “no matter who you voted for, love each other.”

He’s a class act and an American treasure.

We saw him in Munich the night before W. invaded Iraq. The only thing I remember he said politically was his regretting the madness we were about to unleash. Great show in a very small venue. Always respected the guy, he walked the walk.

My band does this song and be damned if folks don’t lose their minds every time we play it. It’s quite fun to play with a full band.
