I don't listen to My Morning Jacket, but a lot of my friends say they are very good. How good are these guys? What are some of their best songs and albums?

They are not for everyone, but they are for me. One of my favorite bands. My wife hates them.

I enjoy their music but I get where some might not.
I will say they're an awesome group of guys and have given back ten fold to their local music scene (Louisville), especially with their push for the Forecastle Festival.

wasn't a fan of their new album but check out Z, Evil Urges and It still moves.

I saw them at Bonnaroo in 2004...I wasn't familiar with them, and they put on a great show. I'm not a big fan, but I do have them on the ipod now, and pull them up occasionally.

New album is very legit. A number of esteemed MB posters will be attending the show at Champions Square July 31.
