This thread will serve as something that people can refer to before starting a thread that has been discussed countless times here. Hopefully this will keep the rest of the threads fresh.

FAQs
Below are some questions that get frequently asked as well as threads started. There doesn't really need to be any more discussion on these, so I'll provide the answers.

Q: Why does music suck today?
A: You mean, why do you hate new music? The answer is different for everyone. But most likely you are listening to what comes on the radio and basing your opinion on that. There is a ton of music available to everyone very easily. You just have to do more than turn on a radio to find it. Try Pandora, Spotify Radio, or just asking for recommendations here, based on what you like.

Q: People here are pretentious assholes who only like jam bands
A: That's not really a question, but there are some people here who are like that (kingbob) who tend to post a lot. Most people here aren't pretentious and are open minded, even if Nickelback is your favorite band.

Q: Why do people like "rap" music. It's not really music.
A: That's your opinion. All genres have bands who have a cookie cutter approach to making music. Rap has some pretty talented artists, whether you like the sound or not.

Q: Where can I sell my vinyl?
A: It's probably not worth much, but you can do a bulk sale to a record store, sell it on craigslist, or post your albums here and people may want them.
