It's been stuck in my head for over a week, I'm this close to listening to Ace of Base to get it out.
I love Ween and I love this album.

I think his lung's fricked up.

Hah. I was listening to The Mollusk the other day.
That is an underrated band. Gene Ween is a hell of a guitar player.

You mean Dean Ween.

April 23 N. Charleston venue holds 2k. Can't wait. Also, Ween Live at Stubb's 7/2000 is the definitive live album. Chocolate and Cheese favorite album but The Mollusk a close second.

I went to the shows last two years when they played after Jazz fest. Sucks they aren’t coming back.
“Mister” has a great story behind it that I read in the chocolate and cheese documentary.

"Supposedly, Dean and Gene had just finished writing "Spinal Meningitis" in their hotel room while on a drug trip. Gene was hungry and went downstairs for food. He saw a headline, "Am I Gonna Die, Mommy?" very similar to a line from the song. He got scared and ran up to tell Dean, but he found that Dean had started coming down from the drugs. He was curled up, shivering, and repeating, "Mister, would you please help my pony? I think it's his lung." They made it into a song later."

It's really greasy, mommy.

White Pepper is great from start to finish but doesn't have the "hits" even though Ween is not really a hits type band.

I must have seen that DVD dozens of times. A bunch of friends are huge Ween fans and that was always playing in the background.
We ran into Dean and Claude Coleman at the Circle Bar after a Jazz Fest night show years ago (Friend tried to buy Dean a shot of Jagermeister but he turned it down) and saw Gene walking around.

I’m pretty sure you have posted that 3-4 times and I watch the whole thing every time.
