I love younguns. Rap has been around 40 years and they keep thinking these pop tunes are revolutionising the game.

exactly. As if all these other rappers are going to be like "Guys, Macklemore is right. We don't need these nice cars and fancy clothes. Let's get back in our Jnco jeans and ride around in my mom's 1990 minivan. We'll show people what rap is truly about."

And honestly, Thrift Shop sounds exactly like the rest of his album. It's all pop rap that the frat boys will get into

Read the whole post. I said it sounds like the rest of the album which is frat rap.

Hooked on Phonics works for a lot of people, or is that part of the consumerism that Macklemore hates and now has you hooked on?

What do ya know, another top 10 hit from this irrelevant guy, who currently holds the #2 and #7 songs on the billboard charts. Looks like he may stick around, at least a little while.

Agree to disagree, most rap in general is garbage. I'd say 95% of it. I enjoy this guys stuff, oddly. Was just calling out a person saying he'd be irrelevant in a couple of months.

Lol I definitely don't think that, man. I just think he's better than a lot of the bull shite that's out right now. This thread was meant as a joke making fun of him, similarly to the thread about 2 Chainz.
