My brother and I are gearing up to start recording our double "greatest hits cd", was just wondering if anybody else here had any original music to share. So tired of all the generic music out there these days both rock and country. Love listening to homegrown music no matter the genre. The songs we are getting ready to record is stuff written from 1984 to 2010. Our stuff is all over the place from heavy rock to blues based rock, all the way to pop. Hell I got some stuff from friends and folks I've met online turning on my playlist now. Bring on the music baby

I don't have any original music myself, but I would be interested to hear yours if you are willing to share.

Hell yea I plan to make our stuff available to anyone who wants to listen to it absolutely free of charge. Lots of hosting sites out there so it should be a simple thing to accomplish. We are hoping to have half of it completed by new years.

I used to be in a song writers group, which actually was the first time I'd ever tried writing. That was about 4 years ago. Ive gotten to the point where some friends and I now have mini recording studios and send stuff back and forth. I've touched on a lot of styles. I'm thinking of breaking out the dobro for my next one.

The first 2 tracks are off of our EP, the release of which was delayed by the recent floods. We'll be playing at the Ogden Park Crawl next month, though, and we should have some EPs for sale there.
There's a lot of great local music being made, here's a few samplings:
White Light Cemetery
The Breton Sound
The Hitchhiker
Better By Design
The Humble Kind
The 501st
Loudness War
Minos the Saint
