Where is this album in your top 100? I was a teenager when this one came out and it was one of the first "alternative" albums I ever listened to. During that most awkward of ages I fricking wore this album out. Listening to it now takes me back to that feeling I had at that time, very strongly, which to me represents a great album. Iris, shite town, all over you, waitress, selling the drama, this album was a classic and in my top 20 for sure.

It's one of the best albums of the 90s. Too bad they couldn't put out anything good after that.

Loved that record as a teen...agreed it's pretty solid cover to cover from Otter Creek to Horse.
Their stuff afterward was sub-par, but I was a retro-active fan of Mental Jewelry though. Saw the MTV Unplugged show and bought it the next day.

Mental Jewelry would rate higher for me personally. Both excellent albums.

Loved it at the time. Only Selling The Drama has lasted for me. Not that I hate the rest or anything. I've just heard those as many times as I care to.

This is one of those albums that the hipsters will laugh at you for liking. There's no denying that it's a very good album.
