I could see someone thinking that. Once you have been, you get the option to buy early for a better price.
I have seen Willie Nelson, Jason Isbell, Steve Tyler, Sheryl Crow, Better than Ezra, The Struts (who put on a helluva show), Grace Potter, and countless others at Pilgramage.
A lot of the performers live near Franklin and bring their families out onto the stage. That's pretty cool.
This year is sold out, so it will be interesting to see how the crowds compare. In past years, it was pretty easy to manage, in part because it is a huge space. And they have been improving each year, adding more food trucks, cooling tents, and a central beer tent (with great selections) showing college football.
My only knock is that some of the people there really don't know some of the unwritten rules of music festivals. But maybe that is just the old fart in me coming out.

Wow, someone actually responded to my thread! If I see you I will say something for sure! We are heading down from Clarksville here in a little while and staying in Franklin for the night. My wife and I are huge Pearl Jam fans so tomorrow will be our big day!!

I was looking for you, but never saw any Rajin Cajun gear. Wife and I had a blast! Hot as frick both days but still had fun!
