I'm thinking of going to New Orleans for one of his concerts. It's going to be at the smoothie king arena. How is it there? I've already seen him in Atlanta at Lakewood. I'd rather not go there so I can see New Orleans again.

Closest he's coming to me is Denver, which wouldnt be too bad except its on a weeknight.

Saw him at the SKC in 2010 for Battle Studies tour. Good show. Sound was great.

I love Mayer but his tour dates are just awful for me. Really want to see him again.

So far this summer am seeing U2/Lumineers, Coldplay, RHCP, Petty, and Ricky Gervais. Really want to fit in Mayer still.

Going to see him for the first time in Chicago next week. Looking forward to it. Glad he is playing Trio stuff and a lot of the older stuff. I wouldn't be interested if it was mostly the new album. I have listened to both waves a few times but can't quite get into it.

Don't care what any say, big fan of the new album.

Rosie and Never on the Day You Leave are initial pole position favorites.

While I think there are a couple lyrically weak songs I'm enjoying it as a whole. I've listened to it about 4 times already. I think the last album I did that with was Chris Stapleton's Traveller.

The only song that I'm not big on is 'You're Gonna Live Forever in Me'. I'm sure he was going for Randy Newman and I think he succeeded in that. It just feels out of place compared to the rest of the album.
