First time seeing him live and was very impressed. The old man can still rock and he was having a lot of fun. Pretty cool that his son plays with him and is a great guitar player in his own right. CCR/Fogerty has soo many good/great songs. I highly recommend seeing him if you get a chance. I'm in my mid 40s and the crowd was mostly a Good bit older and was very tame, which was fine just not what I am accustomed to at a concert. Very enjoyable actually, guess I'm past my rocking out days...well we'll see in a few weeks when I go get my flopiness on with WSP at the wharf for Memorial Day weekend. LOL

Don't know what I was expecting other than knowing a bunch of songs but he totally blew me away. The wife and I loved it and he definitely still has it, especially at 70.

Does he still run around the stage and jump up and down like he was doing as recently as 10 years ago? I was amazed at his energy then.

I've always loved his guitar playing. The man can play the hell out of it, but he's always tasteful and gives the song just what it needs.

I was really surprised at his playing abilities. I've always loved his music but never knew he played lead guitar, and played it as well as he does. His son Shane is playing with him on tour and is a very good guitarists. Definitely runs in the family. I strongly recommend seeing him if he's anywhere close. Hell if I had known how good his shows were I would've tried to see him before him coming to my home town.

Yes, he does. He's aged very well.

He did a great podcast interview on Marc Maron's WTF. Well worth listening to if you are a fan. You may have to buy the premium app to get it since it is a couple years old.
