The live at Hyde Park concert on Palladia was awesome. He sounds great.

I definitely watched that- it was like a triumphant return to the big stage- well worth watching.

I am going to a couple of these shows when he tours, mos def.

Wow he sounds exactly the same as he did 40 years ago, even down to the falsetto.

Hearing him reminds me how much I miss George and The Wilbury's.

Jeff Lynne simply kicks arse. You really hear the influence of the Beatles in that particular song. The ability to bridge the gap from old ELO in the 70's to this new stuff is incredible. It is almost as if this was a leftover recording from "Out of the Blue."

Damn, this is amazing. 30 years later and he puts out this?? It's definitely got that ELO feel but also feels fresh...

Just got tickets for a show next Friday at Irving Plaza. Must be a warm up show for the upcoming tour

Two US shows next Friday in NYC and then one in Los Angeles. No tour dates other than Europe for next year announced

The show last night was incredible. Lots of old stuff, I was thinking it may be really heavy on the new album but they played about 5 from the new album and the rest was old stuff
