Other than Nathaniel Rateliff, Motel Radio, Anders, and the headliners, anyone have any recommendations today?

I can't decide whether to see galactic or motel radio. First world problems.

Like most around here, I've seen Galactic more times than I can count. That whole scene is a little stale to me; whereas Motel Radio is kind of a breath of fresh air in terms of local music.

Not to mention it seems like a completely different band. A bunch of people like Maggie Koerner dancing around stage. No thanks.

My plan today is Anders -----> Wander around ------->Rateliff----> Van Morrison. I'd rather see an old act like Van who won't be around much longer than Pearl Jam. Outside of Ten, Pearl Jam's music does literally nothing for me.

Pretty sure she isnt in the band anymore. Erica falls sings with them now.

They really need to start limiting tickets. We got to gentilly stage at 11:30 and still had to set up our chairs back behind the oak tree on the track. I know they expanded the standing room only section but there is literally no where for people with chairs to go.

If weather is as nice next weekend as it is now, be glad you're there for the small crowds.

Jazz fest Saturday's are done for me. It is a danger zone and huge accident waiting to happen now with the crowd. After Elton John last year I thought they would figure out the crowd situation and they would put a per day ticket cap

I brought a chair, frick me right.

On another note, it's time to put van Morrison out to pasture. This fricking sucks.

not to sound like some old angry person, but I agree 100% with you. Pearl jam was a stampede waiting to happen. We had to cut out early, it wasn't even enjoyable.

Only make it out to the Fairgrounds for acts I really need to see these days. The only must see for me this year is Neil Young.

The best shows are the late nighters.

I didn't find it bad at all at acura. Easy to get in and out.

Caught the Q&a with anders in the grandstand. That was pretty cool.

same, we set up at the acura at 11:30am. Picked a spot near the walking path. It wasnt bad at all getting in and out. Pearl Jam sounded good but no one went to hear all the new shite they played
