Do they have a tendency to sell out? If so, how quickly? Just a rough guess. I really want to see Dave & Tim. I hate people. I don't want to be way back. I figured if I saw multiple artists, I could justify the cost.

Real OT ballers don't pay for jazz fest tickets

I looked into them once and found them a bit expensive.

They do tend to oversell them and you'll find yourself with the unwashed masses despite your expensive tickets.

You can't buy them just for a day...you can buy Grand Marshall passes for each weekend--they run around $950 for the first and around $1100 for the second.

I have done it a few times and it is well worth it...walk through a separate entrance right to the front of the stage...and have air conditioned bathrooms with running water.

The best part is when you want food or drink--you can actually get out of your spot easily and walk right out of the barricades and then get right back in to your spot again without having to fight a sea of people.

Not cheap, but if it was, more would do it--thus making it crowded once again.

Cool, thanks! I knew it was a whole weekend deal. I was considering whatever the middle VIP package is. My buddy said the lowest sucks and the top VIP is for old people that need bleachers. I'm sure I can find a handful of other artists to see that weekend to make it worth it. Thanks for the info!

If you're in the bleachers (Big Chief) you're far back. If you're up front (Grand Marshal)you're in a crowd even though it's an exclusive area.

Hard to get away from the crowds either way.
