Where do y’all park for jazz fest? Just trying to find the best place. I don’t mind walking a bit to get there. Last time I went was 10yrs ago and I seem to remember parking and walking there. Just don’t remember where I parked.

Try the Music Board or the Parking Board. Or the Fark Board can photoshop you into a parked car.

Wrong board, but I usually suck it up and pay $20-30 to park at one of the schools in the area since they also tend to offer food and restrooms.

Sorry, but if I post my perfect little-known free area on a public message board, that's a whole lot less spots for me.

I park across Bayou St John along that road or in the neighborhood. It’s easy to walk across the foot bridge. I visit the folks at Cabrini to get a bloody and chili.

Of course I usually ride with friends who have passed to park in the stable area

Thanks for the replies. Figure I will park at city park and just walk down esplanade.

Best spot I’ve found is that the two Catholic schools right on Esplanade. 2-3 blocks from entrance, safe and easy. Park there every time.

It's a very good spot, but I think they are charging $50 these days.

If you don't mind spending the money, it's a good location. They also have restrooms and good cheap food and alcohol.

Yeah it’s $50 bucks. I bought the seven day pass when I decided to get the brass pass. It’s super convenient with restrooms and free food and alcohol. But it looks like I’m just going today and next Sunday so that was a waste

The Musicians Union Bldg on Esplanade (about 4 blocks from JF) is now using its parking lot ($20) for JF parking. I ride my bike to JF but passed by it yesterday, and it only had about 6 cars in it - should hold at least 50.
