How early do the gates open, and how early should I get there to be in the front of the line to get in. I want to get to the front of a stage.

Which stage are you trying to get to the front of? You bringing chairs in? You cant set up chairs that close to the stages anyway.

Gates open around 11 I think. Go to jazz fest multiple times a year but never been for the gates opening.

depends on the day. on friday, probably around 9. on saturday, probably earlier.

there's a line that you can't sit in front of. it's a standing room only area in front of it. anything behind is free game.

1. who do you want to see front row this bad?
2. Gates usually open around 10:30 like others said
3. If you are persistent enough you can get front row whenever
4. Chairs have caused more altercations and fights than any other item at Jazzfest
