Just listened to this straight through for the first time (a few years late, I know) and I'm blown away. It being a double album makes it that much more impressive. I'll be replaying it tonight at home with some whiskey rather than on some earphones at work. I've listened to some of his stuff before but I missed this one. Anyone who is a fan of Jamey or the classic country sound in general should give this album a listen

Definitely a great album. As is "That Lonesome Song" album

He is one of the very few still making what would have been considered country music back in the day, period.

Maybe the only one I can name right now, even.

I found Guitar Song to be a let down after his previous album. It's decent, but it's no LS.

He is one of the few still making music considered county back in the day, except not really. His last real album was like 6 years ago. I don't think he really plans on releasing anymore anytime soon. Some dispute with his contract or something.
