JB was supposed to only play 1 song. Crowd reacted so positively that he was asked to play 3 songs and another guest was bumped off the show.

a friend of mine played with him occasionally. said if anyone missed a single chord, JB would look over and hold out his hand and mouth 'thats 5' as in 'you just lost $500'.

said he didn't put up with any miscues during performances and the band was always scared shitless of making mistakes.

Negative. A bad note cost $5. Still, really cool club to be in. He took me for the union scale that one night (not much).
