XM 18 ran a whole show this morning in honor of the occasion of the beatles performing songs written by american songwriters. in addition to creating the greatest original songbook in music history, they were the best cover band ever

I was 5 years old, but I can still remember watching it. It was a big, big deal and I was old enough to realize it.
