This is actually a damn good list. People are putting Iowa and Chaos A.D. but no 1st time listener would latch on to those vocals on either of those albums.

That's probably true but there needs to be more modern representation. I think a first time metal listener today would be much more interested in Linkin Park or Bring Me the Horizon the Judas Priest or Iron Maiden.

Not a personal top 5 all time, but a pretty good cross-section of what I feel is peak metal era variety.
