I loved MLB, but admittedly -- NO. Not even close.
Pearl Jam hit their stride at the right time. I bought TEN in Feb of 1992. By the summer, everyone was in love with "Even Flow", "Alive", and "Jeremy".
MLB was doing their thing a bit before mainstream caught on, but their only songs that would have come close to touching Pearl jam status would have been "Chloe/Crown of Thorns" or "Stargazer".
Great band. Not as appealing to the masses.
