Heading to RR for a weekend of WSMFP

Never seen a band here before... Any tips from you bros?
I plan on staying in Denver and I see they have a bus you can take out there. It says you will be dropped off an hour before the show and leaves soon after the show ends. Is this early enough time to enjoy the lot scene and not get stuck in the back? Should I rent a car? Do people hang out a party after the show, or do they make you leave? Any bars around that people go for the after party?
Any advice will help, TIA

An hour obviously isn't much time , Sticky mon.
