I have never heard of any those bands besides FL
It's the beach, music, and 3 days of partying which makes hangout appealing.
JF is not really appealing for making a vacation out of it since I live in BR.

I went to de luna in Pcola in September the last year they had.. only went the Friday; but THAT was awesome.. the weather was perfect; not super hot but warm enough to wear shorts and the alcohol was cheap

Hangout only holds 40,000 people whereas as JF and Coachella hold more than double that.
Given it's size and resources I'd say it is pretty impressive in comparison.

No comparison between JF and HO. It's the damn beach versus Nola. I think the HO is ran better than JF. Weather is always better too
