I've gone from never having heard of Grimes to being like her biggest fan in the span of a few days.
Here's a short little "documentary" on the Art Angels album. I think she's pretty cool. She's obviously bright, I definitely dig the liberal cussing, and she just generally strikes me as a person I'd like if we met in real life.

I always liked this video she did with Steve Buscemi from the weird video series he did leading up to Vampire Weekend's last album. It might lose context if you haven't watched the whole series, but it's still 100 for Claire Boucher adorable awkwardness. The whole series is actually pretty great if you like weird Buscemi type film.

Another very very very good track.
There are seven tracks on this album that I give 5 stars in my iTunes. Of those seven, I would break them into two tiers with California and Butterfly being in Tier 1 and distinguishable from the other five only in that the other five, though certifiably great songs in my view, have not been placed in the rare air of "repeat-track" status like the other two. That's always been my barometer for the absolute top tier of songs.
