The Who "See Me, Feel Me" Live at Woodstock, 1969

The question is always asked on this board: "If you could go back in time and see a musical performance etc..."

Mine would be this one. They played a very extended set. The sun was just coming up on Sunday morning as they were singing this song. Jefferson Airplane came on just after they did. I get chills just thinking about it.

Billed here as 'The Day That Changed the Music World Forever' ... no not greatest but Beatles (Feb 9) 1st Ed Sullivan appearnce, certainly set a new standard for a long time.

Better version of Freebird, note this was opening for the Stones. Skynard was told not to go down the tongue, RVZ said frick that.

That The Dirty Mac vid is a winner, but this is one that to me is pretty incredible: the warm, fun interaction belies the obvious friction. And is Billy Preston a pro or what??
