Is it weird to be nervous?

If you are going to a GWAR show, then yes you should be nervous.

How old are? Who are you going see? Yes, you should hit that joint that's being passed around. No, do not drink more than 2 beers because once you break that seal you miss half the show unless you wear a diaper. If it's a heavy show, get in the pit you pussy.

funny story.

I saw the Grateful Dead in Memphis in 1995.
I was sitting next to 2 kids about 13 years old who said it was their first concert. One of them said his older sister had the tickets but was grounded and their parents wouldn't let her go. His mom was picking them up after the show.

I look over at those kids after the show starts and they are completely blown away at the scene and the show. I've always wondered what happened to those guys.

26...saw Run The Jewels in St. Pete.

My goodness it was awesome. Took y'all's advice and didn't drink much before, which was great advice because it would have been hell trying to walk through the crowd.

I had a blast

Damn, 26 and that's your first show? I thought I was late to the game at 18...

Yeah, they've just never really interested me. Live music annoys me at times. It's just so goddamn loud and the instruments run together and it's all one big clashing sound.

I'm fully prepared to get yelled at for that statement

I went to Nirvana when I was 14.

I have probably been to 200 concerts in my life.

This....blows my mind.

I've heard bands play at fairs and fests and stuff. Whether walking past them or stopping to listen for a minute or two. They all seem incredibly loud and annoying.

Holy shite!!! Went to my first concert at the ripe ole age of 13 in 1986. It was RATT, Motley Crue, and I can't remember the third band now.

I actually know several people who don't like live music. They're not boring people, I wonder if it has something to do with sound sensitivity or something. They're just not interested in concerts at all, even for artists they like.

I don't know what we would have done in high school with live music.

I'm not sure what it is. I crank the shite out of music in my car and don't mind loud music from speakers in bars. Between The Burried And Me is my favorite rock band. I like plenty really heavy rock music, but you couldn't pay me to see them live.

I'll certainly be attending other rap shows, though. I had a great time.

It was probably Guns N Roses. If it was the MC Theatre of Pain show that was my first too. No one knew who GNR was.
