One of the greatest songs of all time. I cannot get through this song without goosebumps. Thoughts?

And for my fellow bluegrass guys..On a side note (and pardon my ignorance), but I was completely unaware for years the Sam Bush song was a cover of the Dylan song. I've loved both for years and had an epiphany tonight realizing they were one. Never put two and two together. Just making me love both more..

I agree. I technically like they dylan only version more as others have said, but I like the way Dylan sings it more as well as the arrangement in this version if that makes sense.

Stephen Stills did a cover of the song while Crosby, Stills, and Nash performed at the Saenger last August. I'll say it was a pretty decent cover despite Stills having such a shoddy voice these days.

Joe Cocker and Leon Russell version from Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour

Wonderful song. I've always been partial to this version.

Original off the Freewheeling Bob Dylan is better, IMO

I also prefer the Dylan only version but if I am going to listen to that I would prefer "Boots of Spanish Leather" since they are the same damn song.

This one is my personal favorite. And I love all things Dylan but this is a great cover.
