Is this common in country music?
I heard of bands playing a big show at JF followed by a smaller show at a club but never 2 big shows like that back to back

He's doing it pretty much everywhere. I know he added a 10:30 show in New Orleans.

I believe he is trying to get all shows on Friday and Saturday, so he is doubling up when needed.
I saw him last September in Atlanta, and it was a 630 show on Saturday, and he had another after, but I saw him again last month in Knoxville on a Thursday, because he added a show because whatever ticket site(Knoxville Tickets?) was used crashed, and a lot of people couldnt buy tickets, and he already had the weekend booked with back to back shows both days.

Just got back from the 1030 show. Didn't start till about midnight. It was awesome. Great show

Went with a buddy who dropped his gf and her friend's off. Some damn good people watching there.

Same. Ended about 2:30. Was very glad I live within walking distance of the BJCC so I got home at about 2:45. I'm sure some people driving didn't get home till well after 3 AM.

Yeah, we've got tickets for the first show in Houston in a couple of weeks. I purposely got the 7:00 show, because I knew the other would start late, plus the parking situation for second set would be a nightmare.
