If I was going to pick one song that was my favorite that he sang it is The Outsider with APC

But I love all his TOOL and APC work... some of the Pusifcer stuff

Maynard was on the top of his game for Lateralus, Mer De Noms & 13th Step..

Those 3 albums are just insanely good from top to bottom and his voice shines, especially on the APC records...

You should also check out "The Passenger" from Deftones on White Pony. He did vocals on that and it's pretty sick.

Bro, two of his best vocal performances ever are his feature appearances with Rage Against the Machine and Deftones.

"Know Your Enemy" off Rage Against the Machine's self-titled debut (that frickin' scream)

"Passenger" off of Deftone White Pony album (one of my favorite duets in rock music)

"Three Libras" off of Mer de Noms is arguably his most melodic performance. He was most certainly as good as any vocalist in music from 1996-2003.

Pushit is the GOAT. The drum work in it is probably Danny's best, and the guitar and bass build and meld perfectly. The lyrics are probably my favorite of his along with the vocal orchestration.

To me, this is the PERFECT song.

With that said, Maynard writes lyrics and sings them. The band writes the songs. This is the reason why MJK stands at the back of the stage now, because everyone acted as if he was the reason Tool and APC were good. Yes he's an integral part, but the musicians are the main driving force. He hated that they were forgotten elements and that everything became about him, so now he sits in the shadows.

That is one or two for me TOOL songs all time. Nice choice

The vocal orchestration on that song is simply unbelievable. A true 'head phones' kind of a song
