my favorite memory of RHCP is when they played Under the Bridge on SNL. during the bridge where frusciante was supposed to be singing "under the bridge downtooowwnnn," he just starts going "WWWOOOOOOOOO" 
. of course, come to find out later, he was severely depressed with their newfound mainstream fame and routinely sabotaged songs before he quit.

Impossible to pick one for any mood. Gun to my head right now. . . I'd pick "Gong Li." Had I read this thread last week or a year from now it may be 2 other songs.
