Any else been really enjoying this? Pretty quick follow-up and a lot more concise than his last record, and still high quality like all the FJM work. I really like the production too.

I like it. Please Don't Die, Hangout at the Gallows, and Mr. Tillman are my favorite tracks. I liked Pure Comedy, but it was top heavy. Definitely some duds. God's Favorite Customer is more balanced.

I don’t think Pure Comedy had any duds it’s just super lengthy. It’s his most ambitious project and it’s a fantastic record
Gods Favorite Customer is really, really good. But he hasn’t released anything that hasn’t been good.

Agreed. We're Only People is a standout on GFC as well.

Maybe duds isn't the right word for parts of PC, but there are so many long, slow ballad songs that it can be an exhausting album to listen to in its entirety. That Birdie > Leaving LA sequence in the middle can be tough to make it through after the strength of the first four songs.
I have a hard time ranking his records. I still think PC is his most impressive work, but I seem to play it less than his other records.
