I hadn't had a chance to listen to the latest album until I recently found out it was available on spotify under the artist name "EODM." If you search "Eagles of Death Metal", the newest album, "Zipper Down", isn't available to play.

Anyway, I'm really impressed with this effort. I wouldn't say I'm some huge EODM fan, but I've enjoyed some of their songs on their older albums, especially the opening track on "Heart On." All their other albums left something to be desired. "Zipper Down" is a breakthrough IMO. They've done a great job of keeping true to form but also brought in some new elements, and the songwriting is solid. Give this album a shot if you haven't listened already.

It's kind of amazing to me how many people were not aware of EODM before the attack. They're great. But I guess I shouldn't be so surprised given the complete crap that IS popular these days.
