Cure announces second show!! May 10

Glad I pulled the trigger on the presale. My buddy couldn't get a ticket today and thought he was screwed. He's got lucky that there is a 2nd show added.

Do you or anyone else now if these tickets are sold so quickly because of brokers or some other reason? I was on the computer and phone at 10AM wednesday and the seats were mediocre. Was there any way I had a chance at row 1 or 2 in section T, A, S, B or R?

I miss the days of showing up at the arena or D.H. Holmes ticket master offices to get the exact seats I want.

I get the feeling there were plenty of ticket bots snatching them up and screwing the system. There were tickets with seat assignments for sale on broker sites prior to the presale start. I was able to get 2 floor ticket by purchasing them one at a time.

Hopefully Ticketmaster gets this shite straight for the Monday presale. I have a group to buy this time and don't want to get screwed.

On a Cure note, I've been playing them nonstop to familiarize my wife with them. She only knows the radio tracks.

"Catch" just came on the shuffle, and that song is so fricking incredible. The music is sad and fun just as the lyrics are. It's such a complex song for only 2 and a half minutes.

I find myself telling my wife "this is my favorite song.... no wait THIS is!" the entire time. In my mind that's the highest compliment to give a band, because it shows that they have a large number of songs that resonate so strongly. A Forest, Catch, Sinking, Kiss me kiss me kiss me, Untitled... the list goes on. Each one of those is "my favorite" cure song.

I think I will wind up going both nights. Hopefully my middle aged arse can muster up the stamina for it

I will try to get tickets for both nights too! I hate that it's during the week but I'm not missing them this time around

He played this in Houston when I saw them back in 07 or 08. 3 hour show that never failed to be entertaining. This song is so fricking tight! 6 minutes of guitar bliss with about 30 seconds of vocals: epic

They could play nothing but tracks from Disintegration and that'd be okay with me.

Crazy. I was on at the onset of the presale, and I was locked up on the "searching for tickets" screen. I was using two different computers. Finally when one went through, no tickets available. Ticketmaster is a fricking fraud

There is a blog called , Chain of Flowers , with everything related to The Cure . Anyways, there is a section that has tickets for The Cure shows , for resale . For one reason or another , some fans are trying to resale tickets , without over charging, like some of the other ticket sales sites do! I will link his site when I get back to my office
you may be able to find really good seat/tickets for their New Orleans show or any show, really. Good luck.

It worked! I went to the Chain of Flowerswebsite, and it brought me to TM for purchase. I guess either TM got their shite together or it is broken and the link on this website takes you to one that works. Either way, I was able to get 6 floor tickets through TM at the face value.
