I went a few times, music is always good and the festival has grown quite a bit since Michael started it as an actual crawfish boil at his house in NJ.
Food no where near the quality or quantity of Jazz Fest.
If you are looking for something else music wise, Asbury Park, particularly the Anchors Bend has free concerts on the beach Thursdays during the summer, lot so good New Orleans acts are playing this summer
