What's your thoughts on this band and song. Looks like they only have a EP out. I kinda like their intro song.

Holy Shite...it's the deadliest pistoleer since Wild Bill singing there.
ETA
OK 2nd video looks nothing like old Ringo..dammit...still I could see myself drinking a few cold ones at a honky tonk and listening to their music.

"these done me wrong songs hit me so right"
I like 'em, hope they do well enough to cut some more records but not well enough to make it to Nashville

I like what I have heard on their EP. With that being said, they look manufactured as frick.

I actually agree with that the more I look into their band. I hope they didn't make a fool of me.

Scott Borchetta signed them to Big Machine. If you dont know who Borchetta is, he runs mainstream country music. Ever since Big Machine took off, he became the name and word on Music Row.
Get ready to hear a lot of Midland. Yes, Borchetta does have some acts on Big Machine and their subsidiaries that dont do well, but he is usually ahead of the rest of the labels on what will be played. Plus it doesnt hurt that he can buy hits at his disposal.
Midland is his answer to radio country music going back to a more traditional sound. He is going to be ahead of the curve, just like he was with Florida Georgia Line and the Bro Country, and Taylor Swift and whatever you categorize her music.
Is Midland prepackaged? Somewhat. Their sound has been the same since they joined together years ago in Wyoming, but this is big time radio, and their appearance has to be perfect for what they are singing, and they have to look the part for radio.
Drinking Problem just hit country radio, but they already have dates scheduled to open for the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill mega tour in the summer. Thats not coincidence.
