Has anyone here gone to see this? It's here in Dallas tonight and I couldn't pass it up after seeing him on Good Morning America a while back.

Will return with a report on what it was like either tonight or tomorrow.
Oh, also Ronnie Heart is opening.

Heard that it is absolutely cringe-worthy so if that's what you're looking for, enjoy.

At the Varsity tonight. Will the actual attendance be over 100?

Do you think people might take him a little more serious if he didn't mimic Michael?

I honestly had a good time. His band of Angels can actually play and aren't just props. He had good energy and seemed like he was enjoying himself. He had no problem interacting with people and was decent at working the room.
Yea he does work a lot of MJ moves into his dancing and he had a few costume changes that looked like MJ outfits but the music itself was basic rock with a tad bit of funk. It didn't really sound much like what he has up on Spotify which was a surprise. Much more raw and nowhere near as produced. All his Angels got solos. Some were better than others. He did a tribute to Corey Haim w/a song from Lost Boys. It was kind of cool that he actually embraces his past instead of running form it like a lot of child stars do.
All in all I was impressed that he is making a go of it with an actual act. It's not a complete joke like Macaulay Culkin's Pizza Underground where you better hope the opener is good enough that you don't feel like a total fool for paying to see it. It was a little weird but not any odder than some of the other bands and acts I've seen over the years. This one just happens to have Corey Feldman as the front man. Overall it was worth the $20 ticket. Am I going to be blasting his music now? Nah. But would I go check him out again if he was at a festival I was at? Sure. The Angel gimmick and his energy were interesting enough to give it another go.
It helped that his opener Ronnie Heart blew the doors off which put everyone in a good mood. This dude kicks arse. He dances his arse off and has a very Prince-esque vibe going on.
Honestly the only thing that sucked was my bill at the bar. I really wish they had cut my arse off b/c this is the nastiest hangover I've had in years.
For sure. That and he should go back and record an album that sounds like his actual stage show. Again though, I thought it was refreshing to see him embrace his crazy past instead of doing a total 180 from it. Some might call it cringy but at least he owns it once he is doing his thing.

I'm shocked that it took getting way over the top hammered to enjoy that

I didn't plan on getting wasted and it wasn't b/c I needed it to stand the music. One of my friends that I hadn't seen in forever was there and that was what led to the boozing. Most of it was actually between sets. Shots are the devil.

That child actor/molestation really fricked him up.
He's right when he says "he had no choice".I remember him in commercials when he was probably 3 years old.
He was definitely "pimped out" by his parents. He was supporting his parents before he was 6.
That's messed up.
