Any of you heathens listen to Christian Rock? I am starting to listen to it a bit and went to a few shows. It's not bad, but I still love my Metallica.

It's really cheesy to me. Also super limited as to what you can lyrically IMO. Not my thing.

I know a chick that's really big in that scene. Cool to see her doing well.

I know the singer from Evanescence started out doing Christian rock. Ditto Natasha Bedingfield. And the lead singer from Saliva left the band to do Christian rock a few years ago. That's all I got.

Is it true that people can actually start floating to heaven at Christian rock concerts?

I'm hearing a lot more Christian bands who sound like Mumford and Sons and The Lumineers. Not good.

Maybe at one point they were. Listening to the song "Humanoid" changed that for me. Heard the same thing about 12 Stones too.

There are a lot more Christian-oriented bands on secular labels than in the past. Which, if they're any good, would make sense.
