First off I love the song. But does it make anyone else depressed. I love my Dad and we have a great relationship and I feel bad for the Father/Son in the song.

My son first listened to the lyrics when he was 10-11. After the song went off he sat for a few minutes and said "Dad, we'll never be like that, OK?"
Some dust flew in my eyes and I told him "That was fine with me."
Love that song, though. Son does too.
