The years may have caught up to Lucky Wilbury, but it won't stop me from seeing him, and I think his voice sounds cool, especially with some of his new songs. Reminds me of an old timey blues artist that you would find a movie.

Here is his setlist from Tulsa last night:
Bob Dylan Tulsa Setlist Before you click the setlist, know that every set he has played this month has had the same songs, so we are virtually guaranteed to get this setlist. If you want to be surprised do not click the setlist link.

Long and Wasted Years is my favorite of the newer tracks that are being played.

He already knows,I doubt he needs the money. I do hope to get to bullshite with him a bit though, and get him to sign my sunburst Strat,or my Tanglewood Washburn.

Yeah, I know, I have never asked anybody to do that before. At my age, I feel a bit hesitant about it,but I am a huge fan of his,and this won't be the first time I have talked to him.
It will be the only time in my life I ever asked anyone to do that.
Of course, I might not even get to talk to him this time, but you don't get anywhere by not trying.

Good set list but I've passed on him when he's been in Dallas. He just isn't capable of singing Bob Dylan songs anymore.....I am learning Outlaw Blues on the geetar as I type....

E but I just capo'd the first fret to make it key of F and it is easier to sing. Ohh G flat sounds good too.

I have always done it in A5th myself,it's a long song though,so I always start drifting. I try to think I am doing it in a Tom Petty Style, with a slight hint of ZZ.

The leader of Dylan's first band, Bobby Vee of Bobby Vee and the Shadows, died today.

Here was Dylan's tribute to him a couple of years back. LINK

Dylan's first gig. Nobody believed it except for Echo.

I actually thought you were being facetious. Sorry about that. You have talked to him? Very cool! What was the conversation?

Not anything like I planned, I was only there because of my date. She was supposed to try and interview him.

I will say: I am a person that gets noticed, and he spoke to me first, and I tried to treat it,just like if I just met you,or anybody else.
The girl that brought me there,is the only person that I know,in the whole room, and Dylan was actually kind of by himself. These were people that probably considered themselves to be important, and they were talking to each other.
Just got by the small talk, and I was telling him that I always played Mr.Tamborine Man For My daughter's Lullabye..that's when my date comes over..and it all went to shite.

I really wanted to tell him, that I never got to my favorite part of the song before she fell asleep: To dance beneath the diamond sky, with one hand waving free, silloetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands, with all memory and hate, driven deep beneath the waves
