Is she small, average, or big for her age?
Bought 1 of these for my daughter for Christmas and it's a great guitar.
It's a little big for her right now, but she's only 8.

I don't agree, kids will pick out a guitar because they like the way it looks, even if it's a piece of crap.

For a beginners electric, I would go with a squire or firefly.
