Best Over Ear Headphones for Under $100

One of the headphones in my current pair has bit the dust and would cost about $85 to repair so I might as well get some new ones.
I know there's a tech board, but I figure I would get more help on here for some suggestions on a new pair

I have a pair of over ear Sennhausers that I paid just at $100 for. I'm not sure what model they are. They have been great for me, but I have not compared them to any others.

I've always been a fan of Sennheiser...for right around $100, you could get the HD 558. They are listed for over $100 here...but new egg has them for about $90.

I've had a Sony MDRV6 for at least 20 years and the sound is still outstanding. Hard to go wrong with Sony MDR's.
