For me it's Flash Gordon in a landslide but Wang Chung has a respectable 2nd place showing with To Live and Die in LA.

Is anything else even close?

Man, I crushed hard on 'Riff Randle' for the longest time.

Fun fact, although she played a highschooler she was like 30 years old in reality.

Can I throw a couple of 90's in here as well?

Billy Corgan did "Stigmata," and it was awesome. So was "Ravenous" by Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz). Sorry if this derails your topic, but these two were killer scores (especially Ravenous).

Don't know if they technically composed it but how about AC/DC and Maximum Overdrive?
