you do realize you don't 'have" to listen to any of it?

Yeah, if I'm riding in someone's car and a KISS song comes on I can demand they turn the radio off, change the station, or just jump out the car door while going down the road.

Or if I am in the shower and the classic radio station I listen to in the morning plays a KISS song I can get my carpet and bathroom all wet rushing from the shower to turn the radio off.

If I am at a party or bar and a KISS song comes on I can loudly demand that they turn that shite off or run out of the place like a psycho.

Thank you for your deep thoughts and solution to this matter.

I pretty much can't get past Jagger. I can listen to As Tears Go By, but pretty much hate everything else. Had they had a different lead, i am sure i would think differently.

Music isnt a competition bro.

Does KZMZ 96.9 even play stones anymore? I feel like that station has become exclusively hair metal.

Even the pre-Document era? or have you just heard post-Life's Rich Pageant?

They're innovative, but I just don't like their style. It seems so held back and reserved. They feel like a rock band that refuses to rock. Just a personal preference.

Mostly, I've heard "The One I Love" (which I do like) and "Losing My Religion" which is lame. Most other stuff I've heard from them just sounds repetitive and boring. Kinda the same problem as Pink Floyd. They're a rock band that refuses to rock.

I've listened to more Floyd B-sides than REM. Floyd sounds like something I should like, but I just don't. It's just too damn mellow all the time. Hell, even Wilco cranks it up every once in a while (see "Side With The Seeds" or "You Are My Face")

I watched a recent reunion show on AXS the other night. they really do suck.

just saw this monumental piece of stupidity. They really do suck, because a 'reunion' show featuring half of the original band in their 60s is a fair representation of their music at its peak

I am a fan and I hate those two songs. Both come from the period in which they sucked. May be too late for you, but I would suggest the stuff on Eponymous.
