I just heard he was playing a house show in Baton Rouge next week and was wondering how he was live? It's Tuesday night and I'm thinking of checking it out.

I've been to a few similar that have been EMPTY (Will Johnson with myself, gf, 1 guest and the homeowner, for example)
I suspect with the fireworks and various bbqs and parties - this one will be pretty thin on attendees unless the hosts friends show strong.

Its really not that awkward once you get there, but i know i felt the same before my first.

they traded songs back and forth for just shy of an hour and a half i think?
offhand austin played unbroken hearts, aint we free, kristie rae, next to you, alone in memphis, splinters, somebody loves you and a few others
matt had aint no living, deadmans blues, company town, his new single american way.... ill admit i dont know his first album really, and his newly finished isnt out so i cant rattle off names as easy (honestly, even on the ones i recognize im not as sharp on names).
but yea, it was just 1 song each back and forth.
