I totally get the love for the Motown sound and respect it and the artists.
For me though, I just don't care for it and never have.

Came here to post this exactly.
But in all honestly both labels had some amazing artists, and the music reminds me of my dad and being little. Some of my favorite tunes.
But this is one of my all time favorite songs... Four Tops - Reach Out (I'll Be There)
