Any John Hiatt fans? What are his best records

I had always heard of him, but saw him at Jazzfest for the first time 2 years ago and became a fan. I have Chasing Muddy Waters and Stolen Moments. What are his other records in that same vein?

I have always liked Bring The Family and Slow Turning. Amazon has a 2 CD disc anthology set for about $8 that looks well put together. I would strongly consider that if I were you and go from there. Bring The Family and Slow Turning are well represented on it.

had the pleasure of seeing him live in Lafayette and he was great. one of the best songwriters of all time

My favorite Hiatt albums are Slow Turning, Perfectly Good Guitar, and Master of Disaster.

if you like Bring the family check out the little village album, same band (hiatt, cooder, keltner and Lowe)

Right because Sonny Landreth from Laffy plays slide on those. Memphis in the Meantime and Tennessee Plates are awesome.
