They signed groups and singers like the O'Jay's, Intruders, Stylistics, Lou Rawls and Billy Paul, culminating with their crowning achievement - the late, great Teddy Pendergrass.

And I always loved that most of Gamble & Huff's music had a message of love, positivity and racial harmony.

Good god, do I miss it. IMO, the music of hate is fueling part of the insanity we see today.

Some of my favorites include...

"Slow Motion" - Johnny Williams LINK

"I'll Always Love My Mama" - The Intruders LINK

"Be Thankful Fro What You've Got" - William DeVaughn LINK

"Love Train" - The O'Jays LINK

This is probably THE best remix I've ever heard...

The Love I Lost - Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes (featuring Teddy Pendergrass) LINK
