Yes, one of the best bands going right now. Definitely looking forward to the new album. It has been getting a lot of praise. I’ve avoided the singles to go in fresh.

The new album sounds incredible based on all of the singles…. I’m a big fan.

Also enjoy the Buck Meek album from last year.

The new album is freaking incredible.

Big Thief was always hit or miss for me with me LOVING some songs and feeling a little ambivalent on the quieter singer/songwriter stuff.

Thankfully this album swings much more toward the catchy, hooky, jammier side of Big Thief, and I'm here for it.

After one listen I thought it was solid. I kind of like how all over the place they are...not really one genre that defines the album.

Simulation Swarm is still my favorite so far.

Yeah, it’s just ok for me. Not bad, but only 3/4 songs that I’d really care to hear again. Also the production is terrible and distracting. Not worthy of the hype imo.

I still need more time with the album, but this one definitely stood out on first listen. Great track.

We appear to be listening to two different albums in two different worlds.

True but this is also an indictment on the quality of music being produced right now. They are good or very good but certainly not great.

My feelings exactly. Have always been a fan of their stuff, but this is the first time I’ve been all in after listening to one of their albums.

Album is fantastic. I really love Capacity, but this is probably their best.

Just found them after hearing red moon on sirius xmu. Certainty may be in my top 5 songs, but I love so many on this album.

They're good for what they are. Twisted folk harmonies with a hippie campfire vibe. Personally, I like my music to have more intensity. Also, there are lots of artists with sounds like that, especially recently and especially from New York.
