American Aquarium playing @ Luna Live in Lake Charles on 12/9

Any American Aquarium fans out there? I know we have a few. Saw them about a half dozen times in Austin so far. Big fan. All the Texas country artists love them. Isbell helped produced their last album. Randy Rogers favorite band. They are playing at Luna Live in LC next Friday. Thought they would be playing in Baton Rouge, but just Lake chuck and Alexandria the night before. Just happen to be in LC next Friday cannot wait.

Yeah, I may be their biggest fan here (back off Monsterballads!) but those shows are too far away for me. I highly encourage anyone within an hours drive to give them a shot.

Yea monsters brought AA to the table and I love that band. I will go one further and say he brought me in the party room with them on several occasions. Good times!!

Can't say I've listened to them but the OP intrigues me. I'm a huge fan of those acts and I live like 5 minutes from luna live.

They play at Spirits in Ellic the night before. Never heard them, but how to check them out to see if it's something I want to see.

Saw American Aquarium at Steamboat two years ago. They are great, completely underrated.
I like the kind of sloppy/post-grunge feel they bring to Texas Country. Kind of like the Old 97s, but more country.

Last album wasn't my favorite. Wolves and Wichita Falls were excellent
